Help a Child be a Child" is a dedicated program aimed at supporting children in foster care by alleviating the financial burden associated with participating in sports, arts, and other activities. Our primary objective is to offer these children opportunities to immerse themselves in rewarding experiences, fostering a strong sense of belonging and enhancing their self-esteem through collaborative teamwork and expressive creativity. 

By providing avenues for growth, development, and joy, our program empowers these children to overcome obstacles and realize their fullest potential, despite the challenges that they may face. 

**Participation fees for every school and activity, whether in or out of school, vary significantly. These fees typically range from $153.00 to $390.00 per child per sport**

By covering the costs of pay-to-play activities, the program ensures that children in foster care can participate alongside their peers, promoting a sense of belonging and inclusion.

Many children in foster care face financial barriers that prevent them from participating in extracurricular activities. This program provides them with opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and discover their passions.

Engaging in sports and arts activities can boost children's self-esteem and confidence. By being part of a team or expressing themselves creatively, children in the program gain a sense of accomplishment and pride in their abilities.
