Stepping Up to Success is a program designed to provide essential support to young adults aging out of foster care as they transition to independent living. The program aims to equip these individuals with the necessary tools and supplies to establish stable and successful households, ensuring a smooth transition into adulthood.
Stepping Up to Success recognizes the challenges faced by young adults leaving the foster care system, often without a support system or access to basic necessities. To address this, the program provides essential household items such as dishes, silverware, utensils, cleaning supplies, bathroom items including towels, and other essential household items.
Our goal for Stepping Up to Success is to partner with local businesses, community organizations, and individuals to gather donations of items and funds to support program participants.
By providing young adults with the tools they need to establish their own households, Stepping Up to Success empowers them to take control of their lives and build a foundation for long-term success. The program emphasizes independence, self-sufficiency, and resilience, equipping participants with the confidence and skills to thrive in their new chapter of life.
